Please do not get me started on this one:lol:...i have to say this has been niggling at me for a VERY long time,and i too have seen this sort of advertising....
I have come across many nail techs who have said "let your nails breath for a while","gel is kinder to the nail","acrylics are damaging",and then i try to educate them the opposite and to try and open thier mind as to why they think this...
I am jessica trained,it was the first company i trained with after college,and i was told all this nonsense,sorry all die hard jessica fans but it REALLY:irked: ME OFF!..i even had quite a dispute about this with someone of seniority,and asked them when the last time they did a nail refresher training and to invest in some good books,such as Doug Schoon...:green:
