I have has extension in for 5 weeks now and there still dead thick but starting to feel bit dry and knot up very easy I bought the foxy protein spray and the repair therapy and feels and smells lovely (the hair is foxy) is there anything else I can use I want to get as much use as possible from them

Morrocon oil works a treat xx

Can i ask where you get your hair from also 5 weeks is not long to start gettin dry, use a heat protecter to an if u blow dry use a low hest xx

It's foxy hair

When I wear it down I tend to pull it to one side and the bit the comes over (don't know how to explain) it's seems to knot up like it's really static

Would a good hot oil treatment help?

Im not sure i know hot oil treatments penetrate the cuticle so if that has been removed not sure if it will do anygood, try a really good leave in conditioner spray too it could help, yes sorry you did say foxy lol xx

I used coconut oil on my dry ends of my foxy's and they've restored them x

I think it cause it's just so thick and with me washing it it's got thicker aswell just not used to having really thick extensions gonna see if I can find a good conditioning de tangling spray see if it helps it seems to be the side I sleep on so it could just be that

You might just have too much weight, if you have a lot of hair applied it can sometime lead to extensions being hard to manage. Try adding some layers or thin them through slightly with thinning scissors

I would recommend the following your extensions will stay beautiful

Pureology shampoo and conditioner - hydrate range is lovely
Extensions are best washed 2-3 times a week max less even better
Apply a treatment such as Philip Kingsley once extreme Elasticizer or Pureology hydrate for 15-20 minutes once a week
Follow with Argan oil on towel dried hair
Blow dry, use heat protector if then using a wand
Never use straighteners as these kill extensions
Use a leave in conditioner daily to detangling hair such as Revlon equave
Use a little armagan oil daily through mid lengths and ends too

I am gettin my roots done on Thursday I will get some layers put through the top hairs been ok today after the foxy spray and conditioner but will give the other brands a go as want them to last as long as possible :) thanks lady's :)
