Hi, there.
I had lash extensions done recently. It was my first time *wearing* them. I was told to avoid showering for 24 hours (swimming, sweating, too) so I did. I actually was paranoid so I even took a cold bath on day 2. I did not wear makeup for 10 days and even then it was only eye shadow.I used a Qtip with oil free makeup remover to try and not touch them. By day 7, I had lost 50% of them. I was on vacation so I waited another week to come home and call her (day 16). She was in labor and, obviously, quite busy. I left a message with her salon in the hopes that she was covered by someone during this time.
She was not.
I left another message 2 weeks ago (day 29) when I had 5 lashes total left. No reply. I have one stinking lash left now. She said that she would do a "refill" once a month for a much lower price instead of a full set. Now, I need a full set BUT I don't think this is right. Should I have lost so many, so soon? I was sooooo careful with them! I haven't touched them, worn mascara, gotten them wet, nothing. My lashes even look shorter and thinner.
Is this just not for me? Was she just not good at it? Do I start with just individuals and see? Thanks, everyone. I spent even more money than standard to get a person at just a lash bar...I expected so much more.
