Did a little test yesterday. I've put Nouvatan 12% on the top left patch next to 20%. The 12 was left for 8 hrs and the 20% for 4 hours. Very similar colour. The other leg has 20 left for 8 hours. Darker but not too dark.

Ive received my VIESHA sample I'm going to try the 2 hour tan tonight, anyone left it on for longer? Do we know a rough % for the 2 hours? I love having sisters she's spraying me I'm spraying her. Photos to follow :) x

Hi I have tried the 2hour tan and left it on for 2 hours and it gave me a 8% tan I would say. Lovely natural colour. I am impressed. Going to try the 10% next.

Did you take any pics? X

I did but not very good when not in natural daylight. You can't tell the colour very much. I will post them anyway. This is day 2.

Thanks doll looks nice x

I only managed to get it done today at 7, I'll be washing off at 10. I love the guide colour and it smells okay! Dried lovely and quickly too. So far so good.
I'll upload a pic when I've washed it off but will upload another tomorrow in true light.

I had my model try my viesha 20% sample. My model is very pale skinned but loves to wear dark tan. In fact she sometimes has me do 2 coats of disco, over 2 days.
Here is what I found so far.
guide colour was nice, didnt have that much smell and went on nice and evenly and dried fine.
My model reported that not much guide colour seemed to come off (but I would imagine this is coz she is used to la disco which is double dipped). she said in a comparison to LA disco that it was more natural, she said it went dark but not as dark as the disco (she left it on all night approx 12 hours). she has uploaded a photo but I am not sure how closely the pic represents the actual colour.

I am going to get hubby to do a test tomorrow night and I will be spraying his back with the following - OMG 20%, LA DISCO, LA FAST TAN, VIESHA 20%, NOUVATAN 20%. I will hopefully have the results and a pic on tuesday. in the meatime here is the viesha 20% that my model sent me.

Hi Guys, thanks for all the pic of your VIESHA tans, If you have any questions or would like to try a sample please get in touch with me on here or to [email protected] :)

I did this test on my leg yesterday and I'm going to print it and laminate it so that I can show clients what the colour differences are. What do you think?

I think it sounds like a good idea, but I would be very wary of giving people a colour chart of the shade they can go, and if I am honest, your pic doesnt really look like there is much difference in say the 8% to the 12%. but what i would be careful of if someone who has really good skin, tans well in the sun etc comes and only wants a really pale tan and says, "I want that one" and she goes much darker than your chart, I think you might end up setting yourself up for more complaints than anything. In the past I have sprayed my friend and her daughter, both have really lovely skin, goes brown in the sun and doesnt burn. I have sprayed them both the mum with 16% Nouvatan and the daughter with 8% Nouvatan and the daughter has gone darker than the mum. Its your call, and in theory a good idea, but if I was you, I wouldnt do it.

Thanks for that! I see what you mean, I think really I was just trying to differentiate the percentages on me so that I can tell people how dark the different percentages are in comparison to each other, but as you say, there's not that much difference on my leg! I always say everybody tans differently and it might be darker on some people than others but how do you work out what to put on people as they haven't got a clue except for light or dark and I find I'm using mostly 12 as I use that on me and it's nice! I need to use up my 8 that I got with my kit as nobody ever asks for it and I don't want to waste it.

simples, just buy a bottle of 16% and mix it with your 8 on your next order. I know sometimes its diffiuclt with the first tan, but the beauty of Nouvatan is that once they have had their first tan, at least there is room for manouvre, ie they want it darker or lighter.

I was going to buy 20 next time as I only have a sample at the moment. I thought this would give me theist options as I can use it to make 14 and 16 with my 8 and 12 then I would have all 6 shades as well as being able to use the 20 as a rapid tan. Do u think there's much difference between a 12 and a 14?

Looks lovely, excited for this.. going to order it asap x

Ok so here as promised is 5 different solutions in my quest to find the darkest solutions. My brave hubby let me violate his back then stand topless outside so i could get a pic in daylight! lol

His skin tone is medium in that he doesn't burn in the sun and goes a lovely dark brown colour after a fortnights holiday. However, I was a bit underwhelmed at how these turned out and nowhere near the colour he would achieve after 2 weeks in the sun. Disco still came out my fave for darkness, even though in the pic they really all look much of a muchness iykwim.

I sprayed him at 10pm on Monday night and took the pic at 3pm Wednesday. The reason why I am going to repeat the tests is because yesterday he was plastering so was sweating a lot, so this might have stripped the colour a bit. I tested Nouvatan 20, Viesha 20, OMG 20, LA fast tan and LA disco. The patches in the middle were left on purpose so you could see the contrast
