Lifting gel on certain fingers

Hey guys,

I have a new client who has gels done regularly but the gel seems to lift on 2 fingers more than others - middle finger and index finger. I cant think what else to try as she has always had gels that seem to last before. Apart from the simple fact some people have gels that last longer on their nails than others I don't know what else to suggest. I have some clients with gels lasting 3,4,5 weeks and some not even 2! Any ideas please

I have a client with the same problem even when I've tried stronger products on her. I can only put it down to her doing something repetitive with those fingers. She also swears she is really careful yet it came out in conversation that she was picking something off the carpet that was stuck!!
Which products do you use to get 5 weeks worth x

I have the same problem with my own nails, part of it was that I was t dehydrating my nails enough and the rest is prob my own fault as I do use those nails as tools

When I was practising in school I did my friends nails a few times and she is a care aide. She would have minimal lifting but major lifting on her middle finger on her dominant hand. Turns out she used that finger to scoop creams out of jars to apply to her patients. I mentioned it to her and she used a spatula to do the scooping for a couple of weeks. The lifting decreased a lot after that.

Make sure you buff off all the shine when prepping the nail - really dehydrate the nail - twice if needs be x

I had the same problem a couple months ago. Everyone's nails are different so maybe try a different gel system. But also too, to double check prep work and what I now use for most of my clients who have bad lifting aroudn the cuticle, is an acid primer!! Maybe she has moist/oily nail beds.
