Just out of curiosity, can liquid latex be used under uv lamps? I've seen it used on YouTube with normal polish and thought it looked helpful for potential mess prevention!

i want to know the same thing. Have you tried?

Liquid latex doesn't stop poor application though. If dealing with powders then they can be removed from the skin around the nail with the same product that you use to remove the final inhibition layer from the finished nail.

Just polish either gel or regular polish.

I tried it. It wasn't successful, not from a lamp and latex sense but in a gel polish and the tiniest trace of latex coming into the slightest contact sense. But then I realised, I had no real reason to use liquid latex- it was designed to be used to create a barrier when stamping or watermarbling, not to make clean up of powder or dusts etc easier, as they should come off with a duster brush or with a swipe of cleaner. x

I wouldn't recommend it for this. It's not going to give the best finish in terms of keeping product out of the cuticle area.
