I find little raised bumps on my clients nails after I have prepped and cured the base coat and it is driving me mad. It only happens certain clients and certain fingers. I apply the base so thin so I don’t think it’s that. How long does everyone cure their base for? Maybe I’m over curing?also the nails are smooth and buffed before applying base. Thanks

Are you using lint free wipes, and more importantly, are you using the correct lamp for the gel polish system?

Is your nail plate completely clean before you apply your base coat

Yes I scrub and buff nail plate before application. I use lint free wipes. The lamp I use doesn’t match my polish but would that do it? Never had an issue before with not matching the lamp and gel brand? What do ye think? Is it something to do with how I apply base coat? Maybe I’m leaving it in too long? Thanks so much

If you’re not using the correct lamp for your gel then it may not be curing correctly and this is where your issue may be from
