Hi all,

Ive got a booking for a set of l&p tommorrow. My client works in one of the local shops &i bumped into her yesterday to confirm details with her.

However i noticed her natural nails seem extra long! Correct me please if i am wrong but if i was too do sculptured i am too shorten the length of the natural nail?

What should i do if she doesn't want me to reduce the length!?! Should i maybe offer a natural nail overlay? If so what is the bestway to do this ie can i still do pink & white?

Thanks all x :D

Hi louise My sister has long natural nails that I do a acrylic overlay on them and pink and white look fine on them she doesnt have a problem with em :)

Hiya...Are you sure she doesn't want just a manicure..? if not then i would do a natural nail overlay...she shouldn't have to compromise her lovely long nails. just ensure they are capped well. Have fun...natural nail overlays are fab cos all the tipping is right there..done for you. HTH xxxx

Hi babe

cant really help with the sculpt thing as I dont do them although if you were to do that I am pretty sure you would have to shorten them unless you were making them longer that her own nails which I guess you could just build on??!!

But to be honest if she has lovely natural nails I would just go for an overlay and yes you can dothis pink and white, once tips grow out thiat is what you are left with any ways!

I guess it just depends on wether your client wants to go longer or not.

Good luck

Love Nikki.xx

Thanks hon,

Please elaborate on above!?!!!!

Capped...when you take your product right over the free edge...so across the nail bed and free edge then down the tip of the free edge..so the nail is encased in the L&P. A good way to ensure capping is done, is to use a form. xxxx
