Hi, I'm no hairdresser to start with. But I colour my family's hair, with advice from professional hairdressers an so far so good.

I wondered if someone could help me.

On my nan for the past 4 months we have used a wella kolaston 88/0 light blonde. This is too dark for her to start with so she wants to try a shade lighter, we have now opted for Rusk 9.00NC and she wants some flecks of a different colour in it so we've gone for a 9.34GC IN rusk light golden blonde.

Can someone help me with the technique, I was thinking put my 9 on, dry roughly then use my brush to put fleck through?

How would you do this please and how long would you leave the colour?

Thanks
In advance

Color does not lift through color. Once the hair has been colored with a permanent oxidative dye, you cannot put a lighter shade on it to make it lighter. You will end up with light roots and darker ends. This is a color correction and involves decolorizing the hair and is best left to a professional who has experience working with color.

I'm sorry but we cannot give technical advice if you are not a professional X

This is quite simple to achieve, mix up all the colour you have in one bowl, throw it away, and get some highlights in the salon!

All jokes aside, you cannot learn to highlight someone's hair online, save yourself the heartache and go to the salon x

Would you take a steak to the restaurant and ask the chef to cook it for you ????
