Make-up Training/courses

Ladies, does anyone know of or can recommend a good training course in Make-up in the Leeds/Wakefield area?!?!? I'm booked on a 1 year course at Thomas Danby in Leeds today 3rd August i still haven't received my bill on how much it will cost i.e. for training course, kit and uniform it will be around the £600 mark and it starts at the beginning of Sept but every time i ring Thomas Danby all i keep getting is "we are behind with sending out the information but it will be with you shortly" I'm starting to feel this college doesn't know its bottom from its elbow if you know what i mean and i'm concerned i'll shell out all this cash and it will be rubbish?!!

After all that rambling, can anyone recommend anywhere?!?!?!

gosh one year for make up thats sounds pretty intense!!

The only college I know of is Northern college of beauty in Liverpool- they do intensive training where you only need go to the college for a couple of days and do all your written work and extra consultations from home- you can gain an NVQ, VTCT or BTEC qualification and would cost you max of about £250 they also provide all your kit when in college.
