There is a company on instagram - called Sugar & Cream - that is selling colored gel topcoats that I am very interested in but I cant really afford to stock up on just to play with them. I am wondering if there is a way to add color to a clear one myself to get the clear effect like this? I know I could use powders, etc, but it wouldn't be a clear tint. Any thoughts?

Here's the product if you are interested

You could get the look shown on the website by using foils.

Thanks. I'm not really looking specifically for that look, but rather for the sheer topcoat color that I could use over a number of different things.

I've done something like this just by adding a tiny bit of coloured gel polish to a bit of topcoat

I mix on a pallet or scrap bit of form paper and apply with my bit square gel nail art brush

OK that is a "duh, why didn't I think of that" answer! Thanks so much!!!!
