My spray tan kit has just come and I have been reading through the instructions. I am getting myself a bit confused about the direction of spray.
I have been taught to spray tan using a side to side pattern-working firstly down each leg, then down the back, then the side of the client and sides of their legs, then getting them to face me and going down their legs but all the time using side to side motions if this makes sense.

The gun I trained with is different to my new one and I can't remember if for this technique I should have the stream of tan coming out in a vertical manner or a horizontal manner. My gun has three settings but I am pretty sure its not the 'round' setting I should use!

Sorry if I have not explained very well-hope this makes sense to someone and they can help me out.

Hi, I have this gun. I'm just stating out too. I have mine on vertical setting and I spray from top downwards so if you go side to side would your setting be on horizontal then?? Test on a bit of couch roll to see which is better for your method! Not much help sorry but I'm just thinking if you go side to side and I do it opposite so maybe your settings would be opposite to mine if you know what I mean?

So do you move down the body in long verticals strokes. Most videos seem to show this yet I was shown side to side strokes. X

I start at head then work my way down in vertical lines! I guess different company's have different methods hence the machine having different settings.
