Mens hair product problem help?

Hi I use Aveda Men Pure-Formance™ Grooming Clay but having a problem of when I put it on and finished styling my hairs like straw and dried out.

Is there a pre Aveda product that I can put on before styling, to add weightless and dampen the hair ? or anybody recommend anything

Clay is a very dry, matte product is that what you mean?

Maybe if you want wet and weightless you need a polishing cream or soft wax?

Is there a aveda spray you can apply before applying the clay like this ?

I don't know a lot about aveda but this seems like a prep spray that acts like a anti humidity primer.

So you put in on the hair to de fluff and smooth.

The clay ontop will still be Matt and dry and it seems both products will cancel the other out.

Ok, my hairs better if I slightly wet my hands and rub through my hair, then apply the aveda mens grooming clay.

What about this stuff before hand

Hey if I were you maybe try the control paste instead have found this to work a lot better, the product that you put a link up for the light elements serum is best for when your hair is dried
