Hello everyone :) i have a client who regulary gets minx on her hands, she then asked if i could do them on her toes also. When she showed me her toenails they were complete stubs and had no like tip to them at all! (It would not be possible to file them) As i havent been doing minx for long i was too nervous to attempt to do it and told her she would have to grow them before i could do it ..She then told me her toenails dont seem to grow and have been like this for a while? She asked me for advice but i told her i would get back to her later with what she can do..

Does anybody have any advice i could give her as to how to grow her toenails? Products to use or anything? I dont feel i or anyone for that matter would be able to do minx on her toenails untill they are at a good length.. Thankyou :) XX

Solar oil.
Massage it on to the toenails daily and this will help to encourage them to grow and will also help to have the surrounding skin in better condition for when you do attempt to Minx them.

I agree with the use of Solar Oil.. the rubbing action alone will increase blood flow to the nail and it may stimulate the growth.

Your client may have a health condition or a bad diet if her nails are very slow to grow, so I would advise her to see a Doctor if she is concerned.

If you do attempt to Minx her toe Nails, rather than using your crystal file, I would cut the Minx with a nail clippers... it doesn't matter how short the nails are and you'll get a nice finish that way.

I find a lot of clients come in and have clipped their own toe nails and they tend to cut them way too short, so I always clip them and the Minx lasts for weeks and weeks :D

Thankyou very much for the info! I use nail clippers to cut the extra minx of the nail but then file the free edge of the nail to seal, which is why i was concerned about attempting her nails as i would not be able to file but i will try just using the nail clippers :) thankyou very much xx
