Mirror nails turn back into glitter!

I'm having real issues with the Mirror/chrome powder. Did a set today. Using bop whipe top coat. First hand perfect!! Second hand, soon as I applied the top coat the glitter came back through! I did exactly the same to both hands and my client and I were baffled!!!
Tried again this afternoon! Same thing!!!
I am so frustrated

Have you dusted off all excess chrome powder from the nails before top coat? Maybe the brush of your top coat picking up some of the excess chrome could that be adding extra chrome to the second hand giving the shimmer effect? Just a thought
