Mobile nail techs

what do you add on to your usual charges to be mobile? Do you have a set mile radius / stagger your pricing depending on distance?

Do you feel safe going into other people's homes for the first time?

For safety do you always ask things like full name, contact details etc before confirming an appointment as a matter of course?

I've never gone mobile, but I would recommend doing a "free radius"(no extra charge on driving) for clients who are in your area, but start adding a cost to clients that are outside the radius. How much? That deppends on your cost.

I've never tried to go mobile (I run a barbershop), but if I were you, I'd focus on refered clients brought to you by friends or other clients.

I would do this in your case. I do this at my salon because I use a program that lets me store client info and send them discounts, appointment reminders, that sort of thing.

Thank you. Yes I'd be happy to do the same price within a very short distance but as generally it's a fairly rural area I think it's probably unlikely. I'm going to to try and encourage as much to come to me as possible as its a lot easier when feeling around my other job as saves me carting kit around etc but am open to giving mobile a try if it's not too far away from home x
