Hi i know this may be seen as a personal question, but im just wondering what sort of prices you charge as a mobile hairdresser??
Ive been mobile for nearly 10 years and have only put my prices up about 3times during this time!!! I am still making a profit albeit not alot but I dont want to scare my customers off by increasing my prices too much given the present climate!!
It would really help if i had an idea of what others charge if you dont mind sharing?? :0
many thanks
niki

Thanks for replying! Do your colouring prices inc cut and blow etc or do you charge extra for that??
x

If its just a blowdry then no, I always like to finish my colours off..
But If the client is having a cut then yes i will charge just 15.
What are you charging at the mo?

Pretty similar to yourself really!
c/b 12-15
b/w 7
cut 8-10
col-regrowth 22-26
full head 30 35
men 5

the cost of petrol is crippling me at the min! Plus im getting clients cancel on last minute because they cant afford it etc, think people forget that this is our livlihood!! Bit fed up at min with it all to be honest, im finding when im busy its non stop but when it quiet im really struggling

Hi nictombay! I am also mobile....feel free to check out my prices on my website if you like!
I usually put them up annually. HTH's :D

You can check mine at www.hculture.co.uk go under services then tariff! I got a base price then a call out fee my area and a 10mile radius is £5 further out the higher the call out fee. This is per appointment not per client

Thank you all so much for your reply think I need to sit down with pen and paper as it would seem my prices are quite low!!!

I think aswell you need to think about the type of area you are covering when you make up a price list, have a little look at some of your local competitors price lists & see what they are charging thats what i did when i made mine!(its a bloody pain!!! lol)x
