hi there people...i have a quondry( probably splelt wrong because i am dyslexic).. My wife is Chinese and her qualifications ( hair/beauty/health and saftey ect.) are all in chinese!. our local sally shop has accepted these and given her a ' sally card' this enables her to buy the chemicals not available to the genaral public..my idea is to open a mobile beauty salon.. we have a 40ft motorhome that i intend to use for this purpose. my questions are. do she need any sort of licience to do this?.. or would a ' hawkers ' licience suffice?..what sort of business insurance would she need?..public liability only?.. she caters specifically for the chinese/eastern asian market.. any help and advice on this mater would be gratefully received...oh btw.. she has many years experience ( she even had her own salons and some point in the past ( in china of course:lol

Hey Timbo, I would contact some insurance companies and ask their advise, try BABTAC and The Guild for starters. You may have problems with insurance if the qualifications are not internationally recognised. You may also have problems with parking the motorhome in average streets, but it would work at larger events e.g corporate events.
