Nail art

Hi all,
ive been looking all over for new designs for nail art, im always doing the same sort of ones, and im getting bored, i need new one's to try and experiment with.
can everyone give me any advice on were i can get some from? a book or even a website were i can print them off. i prefare the step by step one's but any help would be appretiated. x

have you joined the nail art lovers group? lots of photo's there, in fact lots of the groups have so much art in them theres lots to look at- NFU lovers is a good one too.
I've ordered one tonight called 'nail artistry' that i found lots of recommendations for xx

What kind of nail art do you do already?

Sometimes things like changing colour of a design can change it lots,


Check Sam biddles website / blog for downloads and DVDs

Take ideas from patterns of clothes , curtains , wallpaper ,wrapping paper , cards ,
Go to the garden center,beach ,zoo, park look at flowers leafs colours ,food the sky it's endless ,

Seasons xmass , summer , valentine ...

Basic patterns, such as flower petals, girraffe print, bows etc. i mainly just use my imagination, and see what comes out. all your ideas are great and im gunna keep them all in mind, id love to try one's with backgrounds that start with one colour and go into another by mixing them in the middle but they never seem to blend together and then putting a creative pattern on top. i mainly just use the really thin one stroke brushes, but i have now got different sizes, but when it comes to getting a nail art to look like an actual design it never looks right. (example: when i use a flat ended nail art brush to do petals of flowers of leaves, they just look like smudges :/ ) thank you for your reply i think its going to help me alot! xx
