Nail biter - gel polish

Hi all, I've got my first nail biter I next week. She's a friend of a friend and I haven't seen her nails yet but she has confessed she's a nail biter!! I'm only offering gel overlays at the moment. Anyone got any tips? Specific aftercare advice for biters X?

I'd get her to come in every week for a few weeks in order for her to break the biting cycle. Make sure you take before and after pics too to show her her progress.

To apply gel overlays or just a normal manicure? The seems to want gel but I don't know how short they are so concerned there might be capping issues!! I'm fairly new to this but is a friend of a friend so she knows I'm newly qualified x

I'd go with gel polish as it causes less damage to the natural nail. Don't worry about capping the ends initially if they are too short, they'll be pretty and shiny enough to deter her biting.
