I trained with OPI for my gel polish training a few years ago and have insurance (although im currently having a break due to illness)

Does it mean i am only qualified and insured to use OPI? Or can i use other brands and still be covered by insurance and qualifications?
My insurance doesn't specifically say "OPI Gelcolor" so im unsure.

Thanks x

The only point that the insurance companies are interested in, is that you use products that are legal in the EU. I checked this with the insurance from Beauty Guild and ABT last week, as we plan to introduce our products to the UK. Other than that, they don't need any additional information from us - such as proof that the products are actually legal. Instead, they have a clause in the policy that protects them.

Your qualification is in the application of Gel Polish, so you're covered for all brands of Gel Polish - if you wanted to use L&P, Gel or any of the new Gel/Acrylic hybrids you'd need a further training course in whichever one you chose. So yes, you can use any Gel Polish brand with your existing training.

Thank you Trinity.
