Nail course advice needed

Hi, I live in Southampton and really would like to train to become a Beauty Therapist and would like to begin by enroling on a manicure and pedicure course and onto nail enhancements. Can anybody recommend any good training academys in my area? I would need to do a part time course as I have a job and a baby and really want to retrain and end up doing something I love!
I know that a career in the beauty industry is what I want so please can you help me to achieve my goal by pointing me in the right direction?

Hi Jenny, I live is Southampton too and found that Eastleigh College was good. I did an evening course in mani and pedi which was 1 evening a week from 6:00-8:30 for 12 weeks or something like that. You can pay for the course in installments too

Ok it's me again, that worked great, just came across the post about where to start In the quest into the beauty trade, I worked in a salon for 6 years and did most of my training through academies and being able to gain experience in a salon environment with a great boss and mentor. After taking out 5 years two babies later I'm thinking of Rejoining! random question but should I just try conversion courses with creative or maybe look at collages? I do feel that confidence is at a low as I'm aware how fast products and treatments change in beauty? X

Hi i live in Southampton too and am currently doing a gollege course at Totton, its a little bit of a drive but deff worth it as im loving it.
im doing one eve a week for a year and it fits in great with my usual life, ive 4 kids and working as a gymnastic coach almost everyday and/or evening too - maybe phone one of the colleges and see if you can be a late joiner??
i have noticed in Capital that they have courses on the walls but a google search for nail courses in southampton should bring up a few
