One of my clients is driving me mad to get a nail dryer like they use in the nail bars.
None of my wholesalers sell them- they say they don't work on natural nail polish!
Just wondered if anyone has any experience of them and if so which one should I get?

They don't speed up the drying process, they simply stop the client moving their hands! Waste of money in my opinion.

Totally agree

I also agree.

total placebo effect , most polishes are quick drying these days... they stick you under the heater for 10 mins but without the heater it would be dry in 10 mins anyway [emoji23]

If you really want to impress your client you can explain to her why they don't work. Nail polishes dry when all the solvents evaporate , oxygen combines with the top most layer in the polish slowing down dry time. Nail heaters are just blowing warm air at the nails and do not noticeably speed up drying time. In theory the warm air should help with evaporation of the solvents but in practice all the warm air does is cause dulling of the topcoat with no noticeable difference in drying time.

You can speed up polish drying time by applying a lightweight oil over the top , such as CND Solar Speed Spray, this allows solvents to evaporate but does not allow oxygen to combine with top layer allowing for a quicker drying time , it also conditions nails and cuticles so is a big plus for me !
