Hi girls,

Thanks so much for all your replies, all very helpful. I will definitely change my routine to exclude the solar oil as it seems that this is most certainly causing my problem.

I'll also mention it to the college, I'm going in for another course next week. It is definitely in their notes handout and also the way they teach the prep for their nail enhancement course (I didn't study there for my manicure qualification). But, I think I'll have to choose my words carefully - how exactly do I go about telling my tutor that she is wrong!!

Thanks all,

Jenni

Why not ask her...when you use the prep procedure which includes the eraser & cuticle oil together for enhancements...how long do your/your clients enhancments last until they come off?
They obviuosly will come off, as has been said, the oil is part of the manicure procedure, but not the enhancment prep procedure. Maybe she's actually got her wires mixed up? Can happen i guess.

Simple ... tell her you were having problems ... tell her you checked with Sweet Squared and that what they have in their notes is incorrect and needs to be put right.

Maybe you could pm me with the name of the college and samantha can get in touch and let them know to change their notes on PREP. No one needs to know who allerted us to the mistake.

push cuticle, remove cuticle (exfoliated skin near cuticle area), file nail, clean nail. The only other thing i can think of is making sure your product is NOT touching the cuticle when it cures. This is a sure lift every time!
