Hi all

I'm just learning nails and I'm looking at getting some tips for extensions. I'm looking for the following....

Durable

Easy to apply.... Im needing kits of practice in filing people's nails so need something which is a good shape to start off with

Easy to blend

Not sure if to go for clear, natural or white

Also what shape to choose

Huge thanks xxxx

Are you looking for tips for your course or have you already completed a nail course that covered tip application?

If you have recently completed your course I personally recommend sticking with the tips used throughout your course until you are confident in your application and blending, as introducing a different type of tip can be difficult and even damage the natural nail underneath until you have really nailed your filing techniques with the products you are used to.

As far as colour of the tips it really comes down to personal preference. If I use tips, I would most likely use a clear tip, as I find them easier to use. If the client however wants a natural looking overlay I would go for a natural coloured tip and a cover pink on top.

When I first qualified I used to use natural tips most of the time, as well as when I was practising as I really got to practise and hone my blending skills.
