Hello

Has anyone seen those nail videos where a gel is applied to the nail and then nail gems/crystals are poured over the gel? What can I use to create this? What gems/crystals would you recommend? I only use bio sculpture and Shellac + lecente, could I apply them over a tacky layer of gel?

Thanks x

Swarovski Crystal Pixie was created especially for this. The tacky layer of cured gel wouldn't be enough to hold the crystals. The crystals are poured over a layer of uncured thicker viscosity gel. They sink in slightly, then the gel is cured, thus locking the crystals in place. I'm not familiar with the products in the Bio or CND lines, but there should be something of suitable viscosity for the job. There's lots of videos on YouTube if you search 'Crystal Pixie'.

Swarovski crystal pixie is poured but not on a tacky layer don't even attempt this as it's so expensive and won't hold it on so it will waste it!!
You need hazel Dixons bling on and make sure you have a big bowl under the nail when you pour it on as it bounces off and can go everywhere

No finish off the service then lightly buff the nail and then apply it generously then the crystal pixie then cure on a hard gel setting then a topcoat setting

Ahh Thank you x

Make sure u turn the nail side to side as it's in the lamp very important so the lamp hits the bottom well enough to cure
