I have seen a few piccy's on here and I would love to create a hole in a tip which I could then fill with gel/glitter.
The thread yesterday the lady had used a drill which I dont have. I did a search and come up with these
http://www.transdesign.com/Nail%20Art/Punch%20Itz/Punch%20Itz.htm

I am a bit concerned about them cracking the tip so wondered if anyone uses them and could tell me how they get on with them?
Also where did you get the punches, any UK suppliers? I found 2 in my search but they dont appear to have them anymore?

NSI sell them but Cesars Secrets also sell ready punched tips!

I have had a go on a one day course but i prefer to buy them ready done and Cesars Secrets are lovely!

took words right outta my mouth Caz! Take it your a customer too!!!

If its just little holes you want to punch out, why not use a nail charm drill? Also, as i have never used the tips with the holes punched out, how would you guys go about filling the holes with different coloured acrylic without it getting everywhere??

I really want wee hearts now I have seen them - so fussy LOL!
I can answer your question as I have been reading up on it. You use a sculpting form but apply it sticky side against the underside of the tip. HTH

I thought that would be how you did it, thank you!

After seeing Vickys lovely nails the other day I decided to give it a go with my heart shape punch itz...............Well what a disater! The form cut out wouldnt stick properly, got gel all over the back of the tip(l&p was better), cracked loads of tips with the punch itz which is NOT worth the money! and it took me ages to do 5 nails on the nail trainer!

The punch itz is very hard to use as its upside down erm........erm ok you want a heart to be pointing down if you looked at you nails hand clenched, well to punch the shape out you must slide the WHOLE tip into the punch and then when you press down. Then the tip gets stuck to the punch which you have to get off without breaking the tip!

get the ready punched ones much easier! :Scared:

p.s apart from the headache the nails looked lovely!

Can get the punch from the hobby shops girls
