Hi all,
Next year i want to study as a Nail technician in Limerick City and the college requires you to pass an interview to get in to the course.

The course is 1 year long and includes Calgel training( It's here if ye wanna take a look : Courses)

Anyway I want to get cracking on a simple nail portfolio just to give me a bit of an advantage. No gel or acrylic (I'm not qualified, therefore I shouldn't even attempt it - unlike so many others buying dodgy kit from eBay:rolleyes:). What do you recommend? Should I attempt a manicure or two(there's tutorials on Youtube)? Some simple nail art(if so can you recommend some designs)?

What do you professionals think i should do? Could anyone who's been in this situation before let me know what they did / recommend?

Thanks (sorry for the long post!)

i think u should show that you know the features of the nails... (anatomy?) a basic manicure :) health and safety, sanatisin n stuff. french nails and yeh nail art
