I like salon ice too. Love the name ice but it makes me think of a bar (maybe that's just because it's where i'd like to be heading right now )

I like ice alone, but think the interior would need something to bring the name inside too, maybe a cluster of spot lights in the middle or over the desk with plastic icicles coming down from over them, or there is a ice cube style light in homebase, could get that and a larger one for a complimentary mint bowl on the desk or to hold bits and bobs the client may take off like necklace xoxo

It's really important for your logo, salon design etc to all match up or at least be consistent. It would be great to bring an ice theme into the salon from the name - but make sure it's not too cold or offputting.

An icicle or crystal theme does sound fab. Very exciting to be doing everything from scratch. Exciting times.

I think my aunts house would already be perfect for this kind of a look.
It's mad but all u would need to do is put in some chairs and a backwash, the house is filled with mirrors, although its quite a cold looking room, the dark wood floor and dark brown furniture add a lot of warmth, but other than that there's no colour, all walls are light cream, lots of frameless mirrors, and crystal ornaments.

Where's the icecube light coming from? Need a flush fitting light for the kitchen but the drop needs to be low to let the light pass the beam. Xoxo

I like the ice bit but perhaps one word like "Blue" might appeal to you...that way you can create whatever image you feel appropriate within the salon. It can lend itself not only to the decor but your whole corporate image and it can allow you the flexibility to change the theme within the name of "Blue" if you get bored in a few years lol!

There's a hairdressers in Canada called Bob & Paige always loved that name. So chic and simply names of cuts. Just to put it out there...what it if instead of Ice you called it Slice? Similar sound but more closely related to hair. Just a thought.
