Need acrylic nails advice!

Hello, I’m new here and need some help!
I’m going on vacation the end of the month and want some acrylic nails. I have a problem though I smashed my thumb nail a month ago with the car door. I got the cuticle and the germinal matrix more than the nail bed. It just started bleeding out of no where today, and I can feel it’s going to fall off. I don’t know if I should still get acrylics even on the thumb or just leave the thumb out?

If you came to me with that kind of damage (bleeding especially) I wouldn't apply any product to the nail at all. It's disappointing with your holiday coming up but better to be safe than sorry.

It’s an open wound so no one should apply any type of nail coating over it until healed unfortunately.

Thank you so much! I was thinking the same about being safe than sorry, I’ll just do the rest and leave that one out. I don’t want it to get infection or anything worse because I want it to look cute.
