hey everyone,

im new to to lashes and need some advice, im currenlty doing my case studies and am having a real problem trying to isolate a lash with the tweezers and end up glueing a lash on to a couple of natural lashes.

also finding my tape to sticky (came in my flirties kit) and had problems with the remover in the kit too.

can anyone suggest a good tape, pads and remover that i can buy????

looking for Advice as i really want to make this work and am currently dishrtened

Hi

Isolation takes time - you just need to keep practising. Work from one eye to the other so that lashes have dried by the time you get back to them.

Detack your tape on the back of your hands (so long as you have sanitsed them first!) or on the client's forehead. This way it will be less sticky.

With the remover, you have to keep stroking gently down, eventually the lashes will slide off the natural lash - again be patient. The remover with Flirties is excellent - but give it time to work!

Its early days yet - by the time your case studies are completed (3 months) and providing you have practised regular (at least 3 times per week) you should be getting a decent set on and isolation will come easier.

Good luck!:)

Instead of using tape, why not try eye gel pads? They hold the bottom lashes down and remove beautifully. Support the skin on the outside of the under eye and peel it off with no mess. It's also a great way to up sell the service because most gel patches hydrate the under eye area. I use these ones because they're much cheaper than most:
