Need your advice anyone know a good place to visit Hertfordshire

Hi guys, really hope you can help.
After having my second child and not dying my hair for two years I thought I would get some highlights which I did but didn't like the colour. My hair is dark brown so I understand it can take a few goes.
I went to my local salon (actually on my road) and askedif she could dye the roots brown to give a more ombré result as I realised I wouldn't have the time to keep doing all the highlights as it was only 4 weeks and I had a 'straight line' regrowth already and it was almost 2 inches. So anyway she did but it looks horrible. I didn't notice it when I left but there are globs on my highlighted bits where she has dripped the dark dye. I wanted it to look as natural As possible but there are just straight lines all over my head a couple of lines down from the root.
I'm so unhappy, I really hoped having my hair done would make me feel good. I'm going away to morocco on an anniversary weekend at the end of the month and I'm dreading going with my hair so horrid is there any ways to fix this?? Can anyone recommend somewhere I can go in Hertfordshire? I'm really an easy going unfussy kind of person but I'm so dissapointed. I don't want yo use dark hair dye again

Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your hair. Do you have a picture? The best thing to do is go to a few salons for a consultation and you will see which stylist you feel more confident with. Just because you had a bad stylist doesn't mean it will happen again. Sometimes you just get a bad one :-( x

Hi that's shame have you asked your friends and family for recommendations of somewhere to go ? Maybe pick a couple of choices and book in for. Blow dry and ask advice for your colour when having a blow dry that way you will get a feel for if you trust someone xx
