I've just finished my training and have some clients booked in over the next few weeks for Gelish. I am starting to get really worried that people will be annoyed at me because I'm only doing one colour Gelish/glitter at the moment. They do know I'm only just trained as I'm charging low prices to get practise. Can anyone help:( X

Have you explained this to them that you only have one colour/glitter? If they already know then they can't really get annoyed with you if you've been upfront with them. If you're really worried about it then can you not get hold of some more colours or glitters or pigments to expand what you can offer? I don't use gelish but I'm sure they sell it in Sally's which would save you having to wait for a delivery if there's a shop near you you can pop in to?
Good luck and try not to stress! We've all got to start somewhere, I'm sure your clients will u sweat and that :) x

Ooooh did I read that wrong? Do you mean you're only offering one all over colour and glitters but you have more than one to choose from?? Sorry if I misread that! If that's the case then don't worry about that! It's always best to learn and practise practise practise the basics before trying to take on and do more complicated things, that'll come with time. Learn to walk before you run as they say x

Most of my gel polish clients only get one colour and glitter. Occasionally some want a little Swarovski crystal or stamping but I don't recall being asked for much nail art etc.
I think your clients will be happy with a lovely gel mani so don't worry about it X

Thanks both, and yes I have 12 Gelish colours at the min :)

I'm really confused do you mean you only have one glitter gelish?

I read one colour gel polish or gel polish and glitter...
Instead of multi coloured nail art etc

Hi all... I have 12 colours. I am just offering plain coloured nails or glitter at the min so basically no nail art!

I wouldn't worry abut that at all! :)

More intricate design work and hand painting can come a lot later as you gain more confidence and find this is something you want to do and offer to your clients. :)

It's good that you've got clients! And 12 colours is good to start off with

I agree. If someone books a gel polish that's what they expect. Nice colour and application

Ooohhhh no I wouldn't worry about lack of nail art options at all!! To be honest I've rarely had anyone ask about art unless I offered it

If you're really worried maybe just invest in some foils and a stamping plate with a black and white stamping polish, and offer that - it's relatively inexpensive, and very little faffing about [emoji4]
