can anyone help me find a good L+P brush.

i've been using creative pro styler and millenium sable #5 but need to get a few new ones as i lost a few hairs from both recently (clogged up when we had the hot spell of weather). dont really want to spend a fortune but needs to be good quality.

any suggestions welcome.

:) hiya

i got one from essential nails they have a brilliant selection at reasonable prices

I have just bought the Ez flow 508 (pro styler I think its called) and it is a lovely brush, except that it was way too long for me, as I have big boobs and the handle length gets tangled up in them. lol. So after sawing off about 3 inches its just right and makes the perfect smile lines for me. The belly of the brush is also quite substantial and holds a lot of liquid should you require it, but will release with the usual wipe on the dapper dish side. HTH

I know it's hard when money is tight but buying cheap always works out dearer in the long run.

I have a Creative brush and then bought a couple of cheaper ones and they are rubbish. I wouldn't mind but they weren't that cheap. So, what I've done now is gone back to my Creative brush but I treat it like a baby. I clean it regularly, I shape it and I NEVER let anyone use it.

Hope that helps. xxx

While we're talking about brushes.... ;)

Where can I get a brush thats flat but not pointy/oval at the end?

I'm still using the brush I got in my kit and it's called a #8 Cats tongue. My teacher had a brush that was flat and sort of a rounded square at the end. It was the first brush I ever used and mine has never felt right in my hand.. :(

I have searched high and low for one but haven't had any luck...

Sorry for butting in!!!

Shelly - you have to train it mate :D

All Creative brushes arrive round and pointed and you have to train to into the 'paddle' shape in clean monomer (once you've removed the gum used to for transportation/protection)

hiya..are you talking about a gel brush...? cos there is a flat square end gel brush .... Creatives Crystal Touch Petite..gel edge #6...if this helps xx

oh I didn't know that, thanks Trin!

I always wondered how you used the round brushes I didn't know they would flatten!! This changes a few things, lol

NailStyle I'm talking about l&p brushes, I haven't ventured into gel yet :)

I like the 508 from EZFlow......it is flat at the ferrule and goes into a point but it also goes flat (which i like for near the cuticle area).

I also like the pro styler from creative....

I also love my 508 from Ezflow. Wouldn't be without it, great for a multitude of work. Flat its good for near cuticle area (as amanda says) and has a good "snap to it" and the point is good for your smiles and I even use mine for my 3D work.
