I've just started doing gel nails mobile and in starting acrylics next month too.

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice, especially with advertising.

I've got a Facebook page and I'll be doin a leaflet drop, but anything else I should be doing? X

I am the same as you, I have a page and will be doing a leaflet drop in the new to relaunch. I just thought about weddings for some reason, when I first started out back in 2009 I attended wedding fayres and school fayres they were a good way of getting clients as well.

Maybe we could brain storm together?

You could leave flyers in cafes & shops, hand them out in the street, drop business cards in places that have notice boards, contact local business' offering a discount to their staff, donate vouchers in raffles, get a sticker made for your car, competitions on Facebook, get recommend a friend cards made for a discount off of treatments. Try not to offer 'free' treatments eg. Do a comp on Facebook but offer a 50% discount rather than free treatment. Or free gel toes if a gel mani is booked etc.

Just sit & brainstorm. The options are almost endless feel free to message me if you have any questions xx
