New hairdressers wholesale business

Hi there, Im thinking of opening a wholesale business for my local hairdressers as there is a lot of salons in and around where I live. Does anyone know how I would go about buying stock, would I go direct to wella etc or a big wholesalers ?
Any advice from anyone that has gone down this route would be great.
P.s I have been in the hairdressing trade for 20 odd years
