hi!
Thinking of investing in the new shellac top coats but was just wondering if the glitter top coat works well over loose glitters instead of messing up normal top coats?
Thanks

I don't see why the Shellac glitter top wouldn't work well over loose glitters.
But I find that if I press gently on the nail after applying loose glitter and make sure excess is brushed off the nail, I don't get random glitters in my top coat. x

Thanks. Yeah, that's what I do too but sometimes it still creeps in.
Just wasn't sure if the glitter top coat would change the colour of, say, a plain red glitter or plain blue glitter etc.
Thanks for your help x

I keep a separate Shellac top coat to use over any glitter I apply. I have stuck a sticker to the front of the bottle and keep it separate to my other Shellac top coat

If you're going to buy a glitter top coat to use for glitters, why not just buy another normal top coat? They're the same price I think.

I use a layer of clearly pink Shellac over my glitters before topcoat, saves my topcoat and also makes the nail super smooth even though it's got glitter on. Especially good for using chunky glitters like the multi glitz or glitter shapes where one coat isn't enough to cover and seal the chunks in
