Hi need some help if possible!

Recently trained at BioGel beginning of October and half my clients have no problems and half have their gels lifting. Have contacted BioGel who have been really helpful but the issue is still happening!

During the training we had two different instructors which didn't help as they both showed us a different way! One way was to pull the gel over and down over the free edge., the other instructor showed us not to pull down over the free edge but to cap it. I've tried both ways but still have the gels lifting. What am I doing wrong?

My steps are as follows:
PrepBase gel (gripping plus smooth layer)
Colour x 2
Soft gel
Dual cleanse
Evo top coat
Dual cleanse

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

I trained in June 2015..
I have always capped the free edge. And never dual cleansed before topcoat. How ever I use cuccio universal top coat on my clients.
Always cap the free edge in every layer, even topcoat!
This is my routine...
File and shape
Cuticle remover
Dual cleanse (I use gellux prep and wipe)
Remove anything from under nails
Dual cleanse
Clean gel brush with dual cleanse
Base gripping and slightly thicker layer
Cleanse brush
Colour x 2
Cleanse brush
Soft gel
Topcoat
Dual cleanse

So your routine is pretty much the same..
I'd say it the capping of free edge... try been a little more thorough.. maybe using a little more product so it's not too thing on the free edge, a good cap!
And then it could just be down to practise practise practise!

Hi I trained about a month ago and I have done evo too, I'm having clients with it lifting right off I re do it and hope I have solved the problem but still happening. I'm getting really frustrated as I know it's a great product. X
