I want to work as a nail technician and have been looking at courses.
I read everywhere that CND training is the best and I currently don't have any qualifications in nails at all.
I wanted to start with the gel nails course but the final days fall when we have our annual holiday (typical!!)

The next one is in October and I wanted to work before then.
If I do the Shellac one which i could attend in July, would that be enough to qualify me to work on the public (with insurance obviously) or do I need a standalone manicure cert too?

I will be speaking to Sweet Squared later but just wanted to clarify and formulate my plans before then.

Obviously I will sign up to do the Oct gel course whatever, I'm just wanting to get started! :D

You'll have to start with a basic manicure course first before learning gel, they will teach you the basics like contraindications and such :)

Shellac requires a proper manicure so you'll be qualified to perform that.

I have just completed a nail course with WonderlAnd training. They come to your house weekly and set you homework in between. It's nationally recognised, I don't know where your based but worth looking at x
