my bf does put my extensions in for me - his sectioning is superb! And he's very good at braiding too, as he puts my dreads in for me too, but one day I'd love to have my extensions put in by a pro! O how I long for that day lol

pmsl. I know what you mean.
Mine attempts to spray me,but i'm sure he thinks he is spraying an old sideboard or fence panel or something.:green:
He really gets into it, and the way that he holds and points the gun is just like he is restoring a lovely trusty old piece of furniture !! pmsl.

This is a good point!! my husband used to do my spray/airbrush tan, he was good actually!! and I cut my husbands, daughters & moms hair!! and Im no hairdresser! (but I think I do a good job)

My mum, sister, and my boyfriend all let me practice on them. My boyfriend even comes into college for my assessments for me.

I let my fellow students practice on me, and i have had level 1 students practice on me too.... my poor cuticles/skin are crying with pain though, as my friend keeps cutting 'cuticle' but missing and getting skin lol

But hey, all in the name of training

What's even scarier is when a trained person works on themselves :lol: I tried to do my own brazilian a couple of weeks back and it was a very bad idea.

Been there, done that, thought I'd ripped the thing off it hurt that much - for some strange reason I didn't think it'd hurt. Will only let a professional go near it now.

Another time I was getting ready to go out and was waxing my eyebrows. Obviously wasn't paying attention and got wax in the middle of my eyebrow. Just lucky I could work it out with eucalyptus oil without losing the entire eyebrow. I hadn't even had my first drink so I don't know how I managed it.

I've taught my husband to wax my legs and bikini line, although he gets really scared he will hurt me.

He is going to learn nails soon too but not coming to my college classes as he want to learn 'properly' cheeky devil:smack:

I got my bf to wax my legs & bikini line before our last holiday. It hurt like hell! I will be getting him to do my spray tans when I can have them again. Might just take a little practice. At least the worst thing that can happen with spray tanning is patches rather than pain!

hey, when id just finished my nvq 2 i decided to have a go at my own bikini line. was well confident put on the wax then the strip and then chickened out of pulling it off. i had to call my poor boyfriend at the time to come and do it. And i hate to say it but he was actually quite good at it. not as good as when he did my st tropez though. shame my current one isnt so keen, my sister has the pleasure now!
