I've not heard of this product before but having watched the video on the website, he got great results from it. I'm sure that not having to wait to wash your hair would be a big bonus to clients, but the fumes that came off the hair when he was straightening were phenomenal. Does this normally happen? - I haven't used a keratin treatment before.

Other things I noticed from the video were that I'm pretty sure he used GHDs, so there obviously isn't a thing about having to have straighteners heated to 230 degrees, and that it doesn't matter about having an SLS free shampoo apparently.

If you check the website for salons, none of them seem to have a website, and there is a huge majority of salons in Bournemouth/Poole, some elsewhere but none in the north which I thought was a bit weird.

smoke dose come from hair yes i havent seen the vid but i use la brasiliana and after doing a treatment notice i get a sore throat so more fumes :|

had a sample from the lady selling the treatment and it was lovely washed it off as soon as i had finished straightening the last section amazed its great :lol:

i use it, i ordered the sample and was sold, bought the full kit, my trial model is now nearing her 2 months and it is almost as good as the day she got it done. it does release quite a fume when drying but in well ventilated areas seems fine, i use a fan and an open window haha. the hair really is amazing afterwards.

Well in our salon we use BROCATO we have FAB results and all chemical free, we had a sysytem before GLobal keratin and that was good too but that contained a chemical called Formeldyhide and when we researcheds it we chucked away, such a HARMFUL product, now onder people have sore throats and sore eyes, it is banned in half of the Euro.
Please see Brocato it is beautiful and you wash the hair straightaway and there is no blo drying in any chemicals !!!

I use global keratin the strawberry one it is formalyhyde free
Fantastic results everytime certainly no sore throats and eyes altho did hear that the other lotions were banned from Uk

its worked on my hair alot better than la brasiliana did and at £120 a 1000mls to £150 for 500mls costs !!

Hey Guys, here at Nov'Max Keratin we are a small Company based in Dorset, hence why we have many Salons in the South of the country that use Nov'Max Keratin. We don't spend £1000's on advertising, which means we can pass on the saving to our customers.

To answer some of your questions:
Nov'Max Keratin is washed out after the treatment process is complete.

You can use any shampoo or conditioner after the treatment process is complete, as we feel that the SLS free shampoo's are very expensive and make very little difference in prolonging the the results of the treatment.

Durring the treatment process there are usually fumes that are produced, but Nov'Max keratin has been improved since our video to reduce the fumes and strong smell.

We also advise our clients to use GHD's during the treatment process as they are smoother, but any straighteners that heat up over 230 degrees would still be just as effective.

i can personally recomend the product. . i have had clients who have loved it cos it lasted so long in the hair. the fumes are not an issue at all if the room is well ventilated and if you use a medium heat setting with the hair drier.
cant recomend it highly enough x

I can too! I've just tried it on my hair and it's grrreat! Emerson I will be ordering full size later.

I only found the fumes a problem when applying the wet product, when drying and straightening there wasn't much at all.

im still in love with this product! i have done 2 sisters with wild afro hair and are both over the moon with the results couldnt be more happier!!
i still get fed up with smoke but im looking for a mask my friend works in a garage painting cars im going to give on of his masks he uses a try. il will look scary but :idea: im a mobile hairdresser so i take along a fan also.

many of my clients are worried about the smoke been harmful i use your product (nov max) and love the results, what can i say to clients worried about formaldehyde in some product, asking if its harmfull ?
