NVQ level 2 placement/experience help

Hi there, I want to start my NVQ level 2 this September at college 3 days a week however they are asking me to work in a salon for at least 1 day to be eligible for the course. They've asked that they can inspect the salon and that my employer would need to support me& provide models to work on!
Do employers want to do this? I will be there for free, but can't imagine an employer happily teaching me and having inspections for nothing. Any advice would be really appreciated!

As I said in the other thread, if you work for free and help out they will ussually be okay with it.

I think it depends on the employer. I would relish the opportunity to support someone like this.
I have had mentors in the past who have given advice and support simply because they could and it would be amazing to give something back.
