offered a table in another salon....

well. i had my hair done tonight and the lady (the owner) offered me the chance to do nails in her salon. it seems to be a little gold mine!!!

she hadn't really thought about money though so after reading previous threads on here i decided to say that if she provided me with a table/chairs that maybe 20% would be a good start to her (with the option of course to negotiate up to 25-30%). i'll provide all my own stuff and leaflets/buisiness cards. so fingers crossed, i could have a new venture. thing is, i already do one day a week in another salon using their stuff and get £5 per hour. since being there i've got much much better and quicker so the % option should work out in my favour.

i'll let you all know how i get on. and if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to view your opinions

will be doin 1 day a week to start. and yes, i will be advertised by her aswell as my own leaflets. they will take bookings for me

go for it girl- just think you could earn in one set what you earn in a day at the other place- if business picks up you could be in there ful time and raking it in- I pay 25% to my salon owner and it works out great she takes all my bookings and im doing well.

you trained hard for this job dont let someone else take all the credit for it - literally!!
