my mad grandad used to sing

oh mary this land is a wonderfull sight
where people are sh***ing all day and all night
they dont use the toilets
they sh** on the floor
and it smells to high heaven, you can be sure

when the ba ba black sheep thing was going on about rasisim my son was taught

ba ba white sheep look over there
see all the nannygoats going to the fair
white coats and white feet and white wooly hair
see all the nannygoats going to the fair

Mary Mary quiet contrary how does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row

Humpty dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty dumpty had a great fall
All the kings horses and all the kings men
Couldn't put Humpty together again

Sing a song of sixpence
A pocket full of rye
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing
Now wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king
The King was in the Guard room counting all his money
The queen was in the parlor eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes
When down came a black bird and pecked of her nose

I can keep going all night on these but think you'd be better of with google
or even seeing if ladybird still do the books with the full page pictures, thats how I started my kids reading too.
Now we talk about turning each other into vampires on face book:rolleyes::lol:
