Ombre query, is it for me?

Hello, i am a former hair geek (been away from hair for about 2 years so im not as up to date anymore) :-/
I really like this look but my all over color is deep red, what colour would look best on the ends? I have seen black hair with red on the ends but never a red head with a different tone or shade. Does it not work with red? Im rubbish at deciding colour for myself.

This is the only pic i have of my hair colour if that helps? Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ColourGirly that is beautiful too. Didnt realise there were so many options. I have since looked on youtube and there are some stunning examples on there. And a few questionable diy ones lol. Spoiled for choice now. Thank u both x

Her hair is beautiful. Her ombre is definitely a fave for me.

Unfortunately not a level 3 at college should be able to do this for you, post a pic if/when you get it done xx

I will ask at college. See if my old tutor can help. It might be a nice learning experience for them, will make a change from the usual root apps, all overs and foils im sure. Im a little nervous after it was last cut. They were unsure on solving my disconnected layers and the student wasnt over extending far enough so i lost a lot of length i was too polite to say anything and the tutor had to finish it. I know they are learning but we covered that in level 2 and were correcting colours before level 3. A lot has changed since i trained and things have moved so fast. Think its time i went on a refresh course lol. Would love to do this and any other newer trends emerging myself for clients.
