Im having problems with my OPI gel polish, in that the colour is looking a bit patchy (Maybe i was TOO thinly applying) and also when I wipe the sticky layer after the top coat, some colour came off on the lint pad. I used nas99 as usual so why would this be? I have another client in half hour so now I'm worried!
Any help gratefully received.

Try giving your colours a stir with an orange wood stick or something similar. Sometimes the pigments can settle at the bottom.

Yes, make sure you mix OPI thoroughly, by shaking vigorously or by mixing with an orange wood stick. What are you using for a lamp and how long did you cure each layer?

Is there a lot of colour going on to your wipe? If there is just a tiny amount that is transferring to the wipe after wiping the top coat, it could just be a part of the nail that you have not fully reached with the top coat, perhaps at the sidewalls? X

Mix up those colors! Polish shaker! Also if it's coming off after the top coat is the top coat covering enough? Is it the correct lamp to cure the polish?

I didn't reply to this, sorry! The next client I had was a light colour, and then I haven't had any more gel clients in until Saturday.
Saturday I did a gel pedi and some colour came off again, so I changed the bulbs. The next client had dark colours so I cured the colour coats twice, (uv, so 120 secs X 2) and again it came off quite a bit-defo not just the side walls and I was meticulous about being neat. She's just emailed to complain that the top coats gone all weird, and in the pics you can see where the polish has come away on the free edge and sides. I don't understand where I've gone wrong- is there anything I COULD have done that would cause this to happen? I thought if I did shoddy prep or paint then it might lift or peel, but surely the top wouldn't go non shiny and weird?

The lamp we have is a myleene lamp. I'm going to try another lamp (there's a spare) on Wednesday which is when I'm next in xx

Hi this isn't meant to sound stupid but have you made sure you'd put your topcoat brush back in your topcoat bottle and not the basecoat bottle? And vice versa?
I did exactly that one time after cleaning the bottle necks and brushes [emoji15] and it looked like what you're describing x

You are not getting a proper cure. Odds are, it's your lamp. The Mylee lamp is a cheap lamp that does not have the power of the OPI lamps.
