Hi everyone.

I had a couple of clients in this evening who chose some new colours for their gel manicures. 'Liv in the Grey' applied beautifully and looked stunning.

'Suzi First Lady of Nails' seemed very watery and even after four coats didn't appear perfectly opaque! Don't want to have to add it to my 'Oh God I can't believe you've chosen that colour' list which currently features 'Lincoln Park after Dark' and one of the blues whose name currently escapes me!

Any tips for applying this particular colour, or any of these watery shades? I wondered whether to use a close match as the base and then layer it on top.

Thanks x

Have you try shaking the bottle more before applying?

Yes. I have a polish shaker which shakes it for 60 seconds. Thanks though.

Lincoln park afte dark is better if you warm the bottle in between your legs (weird I know) shake it twice AND flash cure.

Usually the wateryness means the pigment settled. Use a stir stick to really mix it up shake longer and warning can help too. I didn't have any issues with application of Suzi First Lady....
