i suppose you could always write it into her contract that if she leaves within the first 6 months then she would be liable for training costs of £xxx. This could include her insurance; time to train her in your way of doing treatments; new skills, etc
Perhaps this will protect you against losing out!?

I really don't think a contract like this would
1. Attract the right staff (would YOU sign it?)
2. stand up in court
What we are debating are normal employers costs. If you don't want to pay them, don't employ people.
