Hi all

Very new to salon geek so be nice lol. I'm opening a salon in a few weeks and am going to be using Paul Mitchell, never used the colours though and was just wondering what they're like before I go and order a boat load.

Any opinions??

I am not a hairdresser but a consumer so my opinion is based on what happens on my hair. The salon I go to has been using PM and the reds are not very good, on my hair anyway - they love the blondes in the range, but have moved on to Wella for the Reds and may even use Wella for their complete range.

Hope no one minds me sticking my oar in

Thanks loads for that, I got the rep coming out on Tuesday so I'll make sure I ask him about the reds, just know they're products are fab but have seen no salons using the colours so thought there must be a reason.

The salon where I work uses PM The Color .

The reds, IMO arent great.
Not great when Red is a really popular colour now.

I do love the bleach though.
It's the best bleach I've ever used.

Not the greatest fan of the whole range though,
I find when it's mixed up, it's too thick for my liking.
Probably because of the beeswax base.

Bleach is good thou :)
