I've been asked to do a friends pedicure at home but was wondering what to use to soak her feet in? I would think a big bowl because you can sanitize it, but i know there is those plug in mobile foot baths. What are your thoughts on these? And what products would be best to sanitize them?

I bring an electric foot spa with me for mobile pedicures. I gets a good scrub and is sanitised between uses.

With a mobile foot spa, will I still be able to exfoliate the same etc?

theres no reason why you can't hun.....being mobile just requires a bit of thought prior to leaving your house and the art of being organised!! you quickly learn not to leave stuff at home!!!

Hi!

do you have a local 'Sally's'?

They sell brilliant blow up foot baths! Very easy to clean as its plastic, I swill mine out with bleach after use, and I use hard surface disinfectant and swill it before use - They keep the water nice and warm too! x

Like Jenn it was this sort of carting stuff about which led me to pretty much give up mobile work. I put disc out in my back eventually, had surgery and was laid up recovering for a long time. So take my advice if you can survive with a blow up one, sounds good to me!

That sounds really good ! Have you got a picture ? or is there one on a website somewhere ?

I do mobile pedicures in exactly the same way i would do one in salon. I have just bought a new footspa from argos its really light & has a removable splash guard, but a blow up one sounds even better :)

This ones form the US its similar to this only green and square, I use a bowl when mobile but I like the bowl by beverly hills which has disposable liners but it will set you back £50 there was some threads on it recently

Thanks for all your help. :) I have seen those square blow up ones but wasn't sure about using one, didn't know if it would keep the water warm.

Ok I sound thick now maybe I should shut up! lol :irked: But I have a foot spa at home maybe I should start using it!!! Hmmm.....
